Pearl Harbor Acrostic Poem

Eventually,The U.S.S.Pennsylvania,Maryland,Tennessee,Arizona,Oklahoma,West Virginia,California and Nevada all sank to the bottom of the ocean.

Actually,The bombing occurred on December 7,1941 at 7:55 A.M.

Really and Truly,The name of the Pearl Harbor War was The Battle of Pearl Harbor.

Later on,President Roosevelt made the announcement that Pearl Harbor had been bombed by Japanese planes.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki helped stop WWll in 1945.

Airplanes of the Japanese attacked the people at Pearl Harbor.

Remembering Pearl Harbor for those people was probably like getting a needle stuck in their eye.

Benito Mussolini was the leader of Italy during The Battle of Pearl Harbor.

One of the heroes of the day was a man named Doris Miller who was killed 2 years after the bombing of Pearl Harbor

Right now,the location of the memorial of Pearl Harbor is at the ocean floor,the memorial is actually the U.S.S Arizona

Colonial Life

Dear Journal,

Today,my silversmith job was so fun!The time you have to be there by is 8:00 A.M.After I get there,I have to clock in and go straight to my first work station,which is weighing the metal in front of the customers so they will trust me.The next thing I have to go to is I have to pour melted silver into a new mold called an ingot.After I am ready to make a piece,I melt the ingot and pound it into sheets.After that,I shape it using hammers and tongs.Next,I have to polish it.Afterwards,I usually engrave my initials or sometimes engrave the customers name on it.It took years of practice but I’ve finally got it!

Jamestown or Plymouth

I would rather live in Plymouth because they didn’t grow tobacco there and I hate tobacco,it shortens your life,and I don’t want to do that to myself.I want to live as long as God will allow me to live.Nobody wants to shorten and eventually destroy their life because of tobacco.They also learned how to farm and hunt,I would love to do that in the 1600’s.I would also love to eat at Thanksgiving with the Pilgrims and the Indians.The only thing I don’t like about Plymouth would have to be how many people died because of the lack of resources and the weather conditions. That’s very terrible when you think about it. That’s why I would like to live in Plymouth instead of Jamestown.

Life in 5th Grade

5th grade is so cool!We are learning a lot of new stuff this year like in Mrs. McFall’s class we are learning about exploration.We learned that Christopher Columbus never stepped a foot on to America and yet,he gets all the credit for “finding”America.A man named Amerigo Vespucci actually gave America it’s name.In Mr. McBride’s class,we are learning about the life cycle of all different types of animals.It’s so cool!In Mrs. Brantley’s class we are learning how to multiply 3 digit by 2 digit numbers using partial products.It’s pretty hard when you start doing it for the first time,but as you go on,it gets easier.Also,in 5th grade we get to play a math game called Prodigy.My class is kind of addicted to it including me.It’s a wizard game where you have to fight monsters and stuff,but you fight the monsters doing math problems.That’s really addicted once you get really high up in your level.You get weapons and stuff by fighting more and more monsters.If you want the exclusive things then you have to get a membership.Unfortunatley,that costs like 8 real dollars.5th grade is so fun.i’m looking forward to a fantastic year

9/11 Reflections

One of the planes was headed for the White House,but before it did the passengers took over and crashed it into a field.The South Tower collapsed before the North Tower did.Another one of the planes crashed and destroyed the Pentagon.The North Tower was hit first,The field was hit last.The last thing was that a lot of people died that day.
