My 4th Grade Math Year

I learned all kinds of things this year, but I learned so much new stuff that i’m going to only pick a few,so here we go.One of the new things I learned was how to simplify fractions and how to add and subtract fractions. I had a great experience with that.Another thing I learned was how to do long division and then multiply to check.I had  a lot of fun with that. The final thing was when I learned how to change mixed numbers to improper fractions and change improper fractions to mixed numbers. My favorite part of fourth grade math was when we did the M and M’s packet. My favorite part of that was when we ate them. My least favorite part was when we had to do all of those tests throughout the year.Tests and I don’t get along at all.I think my strengths are all facts, fractions, and geometry.I’m good at all of those things.I think my weaknesses are protractors, algebra, and word problems.I’m not good at any of those things.I think i’m going to miss 4th grade.

I have a lot of thoughts about 5th grade math. But,I am going to tell a couple since I have so many. The first thing is that I wish they would let us use calculators in 5th grade. The second thing is that I want to be nice to the teachers so they will be nice to me.Finally,I probably would need more help with algebra. It’s kind of hard for me.Anyway,I cant wait until next year i’m so excited.
